As part of the stated purpose of The Dark Empire to promote custom creativity through the expression of one's imagination in their costumes, Dark Empire Radio continues to promote the expression of creative imagination on two fronts, both of which are popular features on DER: narrated fan-fiction, and "commercials," or what we like to call "words from our sponsors."
We've now made the "words from our sponsors" (all of which are fictional, of course) available to download for free, just like our ringtones. Listen for these "commercials" on future episodes of DER - you never know when you'll hear a repeat of an ad you love, or an all new one! Of course, we'll add more to this list as time progresses. That is, if The Brutal One's "Sith-timer's" doesn't act up!

And, of course, how could we forget the very first "commercial" that started it all? This was originally just meant to be another zany little "skit" (which is yet another feature on the podcast, though not as frequent as the "words from our sponsors" which occur in nearly every episode). Not long after this one originally played, Darth Lucratis TDE-023 and some of his friends began to write "commercials" for the show, the first of which was the "HUTTERS" ad. Then, it wasn't long before Lord Bruticus TDE-021 himself jumped on the writing-bandwagon as well; the end result being the ever-growing collection you see here. So here it is, the first ever "commercial" on DER!
